Michal & Miloš

Meet Michal & Miloš

Intended Parents – Olomouc, Czechia

Michal and Miloš live in the beautiful historic city of Olomouc, Czechia, where they have built a life centered around compassion, family, and caring for others. Michal is an oncologist, and Miloš is a pediatrician. They are working with CReATe Fertility Centre in Toronto and have six PGS-tested embryos ready, with three additional embryos currently undergoing testing.

From the very beginning of their relationship, they knew they wanted to become parents. Growing up in close-knit families filled with Sunday gatherings, siblings, cousins, and grandparents, they always imagined raising children of their own. As a same-sex couple, adoption is not an option in the Czech Republic, making surrogacy the only path to building the family they have always dreamed of.

Their decision to pursue surrogacy in Canada was an easy one. Long before beginning their family-building journey, they fell in love with Canada during their first visit. Michal later returned to Toronto for a medical internship, strengthening their connection to the country. They were also deeply moved by Canada's altruistic approach to surrogacy, where the journey is built on kindness, generosity, and lasting relationships rather than transactions.

Family and friendship are at the heart of Michal and Miloš's lives. Their parents, siblings, extended family, friends, and colleagues have all embraced their dream of becoming fathers and continue to support them every step of the way. Together, they hope to welcome two children into a home filled with love, laughter, and strong family values.

For Michal and Miloš, the relationship with their surrogate is just as important as the journey itself. They hope to build a friendship based on trust, honesty, empathy, and open communication. Although they live internationally, they plan to travel to Canada during the pregnancy whenever possible and would love to be present for the birth if their surrogate is comfortable. They hope the relationship continues long after their baby is born, with regular updates, visits, and a lifelong connection. To them, their surrogate will always be a cherished part of their family's story.

Outside of medicine, they enjoy an active and balanced lifestyle. During the warmer months, you'll often find them running or at the gym, while winter evenings are spent rewatching Harry Potter or strolling through the fairy-tale streets of snow-covered Olomouc. Michal enjoys building LEGO sets, reading, playing video games, and cheering on his favourite NHL teams, while Miloš enjoys gardening at his parents' home and watching documentaries about history and architecture. Together, they also love travelling and look forward to sharing their adventures with their future children.

Their personalities complement each other perfectly. Michal is outgoing, energetic, optimistic, and always ready to make people laugh. Miloš brings a calm, thoughtful, and steady presence, balancing every situation with kindness and patience. Together, they have built a relationship founded on communication, mutual respect, and unwavering support, qualities they hope to pass on to their future children.

More than anything, Michal and Miloš are excited to experience the everyday joys of parenthood—from bedtime stories and family vacations to cheering at hockey games, encouraging a love of learning, and creating traditions of their own. They are incredibly grateful to the woman who will help make their dream of becoming fathers a reality and look forward to welcoming their child into a life filled with unconditional love, security, and endless support.
