Meet Padmani and Sameer. We’ve been together for ten wonderful years, and our story began in the most ordinary yet magical way — at a coffee shop. A pint of Guinness, a slice of pizza, and hours of conversation later, we discovered an easy connection. We fell in love during long walks through the Botanical Gardens, surrounded by beauty, colour, and calm — a perfect reflection of how we felt about each other.
We call Montreal home, a vibrant city that thrives on culture, art, and diversity. People here are warm and joyful — after all, Just for Laughs was born in this city. With museums, festivals, parks, and natural spaces all close by, Montreal offers a rich, wholesome, and convenient way of life that we truly cherish.
Our little family includes Ben, our sweet and loyal dog, who is always ready for a walk, a cuddle, or an adventure. We spend a lot of time outdoors, going on nature walks, visiting museums, relaxing at the Old Port, or simply enjoying time with our families.
We were both raised by parents who started from scratch and worked incredibly hard. Even with limited resources, they made sure we never felt we lacked anything. Their resilience, love, and generosity inspire us every day and shape the kind of parents we hope to become.
We love cooking together and experimenting with new recipes. Paddy enjoys painting and gardening — finding peace and creativity in colours and nature. Sam loves to read and unwind with stand-up comedy. We balance each other beautifully and share a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life.
Due to ovarian cancer, we have turned to surrogacy to grow our family. Becoming parents is something we have dreamed about for years. We both come from large, close-knit families, and being around our nieces and nephews brings us pure joy. The laughter, curiosity, and unconditional love that children bring into the world is something we treasure deeply.
Our greatest hope is to build a family filled with that same warmth — a home where a child feels safe, loved, supported, and encouraged to grow into their truest self.
Quick overview on a few things you need to know about becoming a surrogate in Canada:
You must be a female of 21-49 years of age
Have delivered one or more child(ren) of your own
Have experienced healthy pregnancies and births
Lead a healthy lifestyle and be physically/mentally healthy in general
Surrogates in Canada are:
Reimbursed all of their expenses. (average $20,000-40,000)
Can apply for 15 weeks of maternity leave (if eligible)
Have independent legal representation and a legal contract
Will travel to the Intended Parents clinic - all costs covered
