Meet Dustin & Niels

Intended Parents – The Netherlands

Dustin and Niels met on Tinder and have been together since December 2015. After nearly a decade of building a life filled with love, laughter, travel, and wonderful memories, they married in May 2025. They live in a quiet neighbourhood just minutes from the beach with their much-loved dog, Ace.

Dustin works as an Occupational Therapist, while Niels is a Head of Department in education. In their spare time, they enjoy travelling, walking Ace, cooking and baking together, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends. They love the balance of exploring the world and enjoying peaceful moments at home.

Their journey toward parenthood began in 2020. Although the COVID-19 pandemic made it difficult to move forward, their dream of having a family remained. In 2022, they began speaking with clinics and agencies and learning everything they could about their options. It did not take long for them to realize that surrogacy was the right path for them.

Dustin and Niels are working with CReATe Fertility Centre and have 16 PGS-tested embryos ready. They hope to transfer one embryo at a time. Ideally, they would love to welcome two children, but they would be incredibly grateful to become parents to one.

They chose Canada because they value its altruistic approach to surrogacy and the emphasis placed on trust, respect, generosity, and supporting everyone involved. Canada’s excellent medical care, clear legal process, and the warm welcome they received made it feel like the right place to continue their journey.

“We often find ourselves talking about the future—not only the big milestones, but the little moments. Family dinners, bedtime stories, holidays, teaching our child to ride a bike, and watching them grow into their own unique person. More than anything, we want to provide a home filled with love, laughter, encouragement, and unconditional support.”

Dustin and Niels are surrounded by supportive family members, friends, and employers who cannot wait for them to become dads. Their 11-year-old niece is already excited to babysit, and their future child will be welcomed by grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends who are ready to surround them with love.

They hope to build a warm and natural relationship with their surrogate—one based on kindness, honesty, humour, and open communication. They would love to receive updates, attend important appointments by video call, visit Canada during the pregnancy, and arrive before the birth of their baby.

After the birth, they hope to remain connected through occasional photographs and updates in whatever way feels comfortable for everyone. It is important to them that their child understands their story and has the opportunity to know the incredible woman who helped bring them into the world.

You could be the one to help Dustin and Niels turn their long-held dream into reality. Becoming a surrogate is an extraordinary and life-changing experience. You are not only creating parents—you are creating grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, and an entire family filled with love. Your generosity can create a legacy that lasts a lifetime.
