Kris & Michel
Meet Kris & Michel
Intended Parents – Lévis, QC
Kristopher and Michel live in Lévis, just outside Quebec City. Kristopher is a family physician and obstetrician, and Michel is an emergency physician. Together, they are continuing their surrogacy journey with nine embryos ready and a deep commitment to building their family.
Coming from large, close-knit families, both Kristopher and Michel have always known they wanted children. Early in their relationship, they spoke openly about their shared goal of becoming parents. As a same-sex couple, they explored different paths to parenthood, including adoption, but ultimately felt that surrogacy was the right choice for them. It offers the opportunity to experience the journey in a meaningful way while building a strong connection to their future child.
Their desire to become parents has only grown stronger over time. Both have spent much of their lives working with children — Kristopher through his medical practice and background in obstetrics, and Michel through his experiences in camps and community settings. Surrounded by nieces, nephews, and a growing number of friends with young families, they have come to see parenthood not just as a dream, but as an essential part of their lives.
Kristopher and Michel are fortunate to have a strong support system. Their families and close friends are fully aware of their journey and are excited to support them every step of the way. With many loved ones living nearby, they are confident their future child will be surrounded by care, guidance, and a true sense of community.
In their free time, they enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, often gathering around good meals and meaningful conversation. They value staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and they both appreciate music, creativity, and the simple moments that bring people together. Their home is warm, welcoming, and filled with laughter — a space they are excited to share with their future children.
They hope to build a genuine and lasting relationship with their surrogate, one rooted in trust, communication, and mutual respect. They are open, understanding, and committed to ensuring the journey is a positive and meaningful experience for everyone involved.
Kristopher and Michel look forward to the day they can welcome their child into a life full of love, support, and opportunity. They are ready to embrace all aspects of parenthood — from everyday routines to life’s biggest milestones — and are deeply grateful for the opportunity to grow their family.
