Bo & Songlin
Meet Bo & Songlin
Intended Parents – Toronto, Ontario
Bo and Songlin live in Toronto, Ontario, where they’ve built a life together grounded in love, resilience, and shared dreams. Bo works as a Researcher, while Songlin is a Translator. Their story began nearly ten years ago when they met through social media as university students. What started as a simple connection quickly grew into a lasting partnership—and they’ve been inseparable ever since.
For Bo and Songlin, the dream of parenthood has always lived close to their hearts. They see becoming parents as an exciting new chapter—one filled with opportunity, growth, and deep meaning. The chance to nurture and guide a child, to share everyday moments and unconditional love, represents the kind of family life they’ve long envisioned.
“Parenthood would bring profound joy and purpose to our lives,” they share. “Caring for a child would not only deepen our bond as a couple, but also allow us to grow together in ways we haven’t yet experienced. We imagine building a home filled with love, laughter, and the shared journey of raising a child.”
As a same-sex couple, Bo and Songlin faced significant cultural and legal barriers in their country of origin—challenges that made it difficult to live openly and pursue their dream of building a family. Their decision to immigrate to Canada was life-changing, driven by a desire for acceptance, equality, and the freedom to live authentically. In Canada, they found a place that embraces love in all its forms and offered hope for the future they wanted to build together.
Surrogacy has become that hope. It offers a meaningful path forward, helping them overcome biological limitations and bringing them closer to realizing their dream of becoming parents. While the journey hasn’t been without challenges, the possibility of one day holding their child and creating a family of their own makes every step worthwhile.
Bo and Songlin are surrounded by unwavering support. Their families, though living in their home country, remain closely connected through frequent conversations and a deep understanding of their lives. Their parents fully support their journey to parenthood and share in their hope of welcoming a child. In Toronto, they are part of a strong community of friends—many of whom are parents themselves—who encourage and celebrate this exciting chapter alongside them.
Surrogacy represents more than a path to parenthood for Bo and Songlin. It is the realization of a dream they have carried for years, and the opportunity to build a loving family rooted in acceptance, connection, and joy.
