Christine & Trevor
Meet Christine & Trevor
Intended Parents – Mississauga, Ontario Canada
Meet Christine and Trevor. We’ve been together for seven years and married for four. Like many modern love stories, ours began online. We spent weeks getting to know each other, building a connection through long conversations before meeting in person — and that easy, comfortable bond has only grown stronger over the years.
Our little family includes two much-loved pets: Stormy, our cat, who joined us on a stormy night (and lives up to his name in personality), and Hailey, our friendly and playful mini Goldendoodle. They bring warmth, comfort, and laughter into our home every day.
Our Path to Parenthood
Becoming parents has always been a shared dream for both of us. We’ve long imagined growing our family, sharing our love, and watching not only ourselves, but also our extended families, embrace a future child with open arms.
Our fertility journey began with four IUI attempts, and when those were unsuccessful, we moved to IVF through MFC. After three failed embryo transfers, further testing revealed that Christine’s immune system was attacking the embryos. We learned that the chances of a successful transfer were extremely slim and that the treatments required to help the pregnancy could also place Christine at risk due to age and BMI.
Receiving this news was heartbreaking, but it also gave us clarity. We realized that if we wanted to continue building our family safely and hopefully, surrogacy would be the next step.
The Support Around Us
We are incredibly fortunate to have strong family support. Both sets of parents have been loving, encouraging, and completely behind us through every stage of this journey. Christine’s dad is eager for his first grandchild, and Trevor’s family is excited at the thought of welcoming another little one to join their growing group of nieces and nephews.
Our siblings know about this next chapter and surround us with support, love, and reassurance. A few close friends are also aware and have been nothing but kind and encouraging.
Even social media has played a positive role — seeing others walk similar paths, sharing their challenges and their triumphs, has kept us grounded and hopeful. Knowing we’re not alone has been deeply comforting.
Looking Ahead
Despite the difficulties we’ve faced, our desire to become parents has only grown stronger. We dream of raising a child in a home filled with warmth, stability, laughter, and unconditional love. We imagine family gatherings, holidays, bedtime stories, messy art projects, and the everyday magic of watching a child grow into who they’re meant to be.
We feel ready, hopeful, and supported as we take this next step toward growing our family through surrogacy.
